Sakura Festival sends hope to Japan

Jingting Jia, a freshman business administration major from Beijing, China, records her message for Japan. Attendants of the Sakura Festival were able to record a message that would be posted on YouTube for Japanese citizens to view.

Hajime Akiba, a sophomore business administration major from Ibaraki, Japan, teaches Micah Hadley, a fourth grader at Central Elementary in Kearney, the ancient art of Kendo. Akiba has been practicing Kendo for nine years.
