The Japanese Association at Kearney (JAK), which serves as a cultural bridge between UNK students and Japan, has begun meetings about this semester's Japanese activities. “This year marks the 10th anniversary of JAK, so we'll try to bring additional excitement to JAK's activities more than ever," said JAK president Kou Muroga (front row, second from left).

“We hold many events through the year. The Sakura Festival "Samurai Japan" is one of the biggest events of JAK,” he said. “This festival takes you during the samurai period, and you can enjoy it because we serve Japanese traditional foods and have fantastic activities.”
