Rosenblatt Stadium saw its last days of glory this year during the 2010 College World Series in Omaha. The College Series will be moving to the TD Ameritrade Park in 2011.
With the “ping” of the aluminum bat and the ball landing safely in right field, Whit Merrifield had not only knocked in the winning run to give his team the National Championship, but had put an end to a 61-year tradition. The series is moving to the all-new TD Ameritrade Park in downtown Omaha in 2011 and beyond.
